NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING: Georgia State University will hold a public hearing to share details of its "College Town Downtown" transformation initiative May 28, 2025, from 5 to 7 p.m. in Centennial Hall, Room 120, located at 100 Auburn Avenue NE, Atlanta, GA 30303. The Atlanta Campus transformation plan includes replacing Sparks Hall with a vibrant central greenspace called the Panther Quad, replacing the building at 148 Edgewood Avenue with new, expanded greenspace, and developing pedestrian-friendly connections across campus. Attendees will be able to view renderings, ask questions, and provide comments. The meeting is being conducted to fulfill the University System of Georgia's obligations under GEPA and the State Stewardship Standards established by the State Historic Preservation Division. 5-14-25
