NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FULTON COUNTY, GA FY 2026 ANNUAL ACTION PLAN Notice is hereby given that Fulton County, GA (County) is in the process of preparing its 2026 Annual Action Plan for the federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) Programs. Feedback from the community is requested to inform the housing, community and economic development needs for the County. For FY 2026, Fulton County expects to receive the following amounts CDBG: $1,250,000; HOME: $600,000. These amounts are estimates only and final allocations to the County are dependent on Congressional budget and appropriations. The Annual Plan document will describe how changes to these amounts will be treated should the County receive more or less than anticipated. These funds will be used for a variety of eligible activities and services that will benefit Fulton County citizens, with the exception of activities located in the city limits of Atlanta, Roswell, South Fulton and Sandy Springs. The County will hold a public hearing to discuss the needs of the County on Tuesday December 16, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at the Fulton County College Park Library 3647 Main St, College Park, GA 30337. The purpose of the public needs meeting is to: 1. Obtain the views and comments of individuals and organizations concerning the County's housing and community development needs. The information gathered will be used in the preparation of the Annual Plan elements for Fiscal Year 2026 Community Development Block Grant and related Programs. 2. Provide an opportunity for citizens and organizations, non-profits and County Departments to make requests for funding for projects or suggest activities that could be funded with CDBG and HOME funds that would meet community needs. 3. Review the County' CDBG and HOME Programs and provide an opportunity for the public to comment on program performance. All interested individuals and organizations are invited to attend this hearing and offer their views and comments on the housing and community development needs of the County. Fulton County will make reasonable accommodations and services necessary for sensory-impaired and disabled citizens. Additionally, translation services may be offered upon request and availability.
