HENDRY ~ BURKE WEDDING Isabella Virginia Hendry and Timothy States Burke were married June 22 at The Rooftop Terrace at Ponce City Market in Atlanta, Georgia. The Reverend Bobbie Wrenn Banks, Pastor of Gum Creek Presbyterian Church in Oxford, GA, and an affiliate of North Decatur Presbyterian Church, officiated. Ms. Hendry, 27, is a fourth grade dual-launguage teacher at Paul Revere K-8 in the San Francisco Unified School District. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Modern Languages from Scripps College, in Claremont California, and received a Masters Degree in Education from Stanford University after completing a Fulbright Program in Jordan. She is the daughter of Anne Taylor Hendry and Robert Steven Hendry of Atlanta. The bride's mother is a garden designer and community volunteer. The bride's father is a Vice President with Lockton Companies. They reside in Atlanta. Mr. Burke, 27, graduated in May from the Masters of Information Science Program at U.C. Berkeley. He graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Government from Claremont McKenna College in Claremont, California. He is the son of Thomas Robert Burke, founder and former chairman of the company now known as Prologis and former Trustee of Stanford University, and Katherine States Burke, the Deputy Director of Global Health at Stanford University and the former Executive Editor of The American Lawyer Magazine. They live in Woodside, California. Izzy and Tim met in 2010 at a party at the Claremont Colleges, and began dating soon after. The couple will continue to reside in San Francisco with their dog, Jaws, who served as the flower dog for their wedding. They will travel to Guatemala and Germany for their honeymoon.
