BROWN-SPOFFORD WEDDING On May 10, 2025, Caroline Hughes Brown and William Nicholas Spofford, both of Atlanta, Georgia, were married in a boxwood garden in Wilmington, Delaware, on a beautiful spring day surrounded by family and friends.The bride is the daughter of Sharon Ingham Brown and Joel Robert Brown of Tampa, Florida; the granddaughter of the late Rodney Royer Ingham and Mary Ann Friar-Davis Ingham of Wilmington and Augusta, Georgia; and the granddaughter of the late Robert Levi Brown and the late Clydene Qualls Brown of Benton, Tennessee. The groom is the son of Drs. William Neil Spofford and Cynthia Gosser Spofford of Easton, Maryland; the grandson of Charles Wiltsie Spofford of Sterling, Virginia, and Sally Neil Cunningham of Vienna, Virginia; and the grandson of Robert Lee Gosser of Youngstown, Ohio, and Easton, Maryland, and the late Frances Ann Hooper Gosser of Youngstown, Ohio. The bride's brother and nephew, Davis Ingham Brown and Thomas Robert Brown, served as usher and honorary junior usher, respectively. The groom's brother, Zachary Ryan Spofford, served as best man, and his sister, Kathryn Noel Spofford, was a bridesmaid. The bride's uncle, Barton DeShields Reese, officiated the ceremony. Other family members featured in the wedding included Miss Ella Royer Nalley of Greenville, South Carolina, flower girl; Miss Chloe Elizabeth Baker and Miss Madison Leigh Baker of Cleveland, Tennessee, honorary flower girls; Landon Lee Reese and Elliot Moring Reese of Wilmington, greeters; and George Bennett Nalley and Weston Burdine Nalley of Greenville, ushers. The couple met while attending Georgia Tech. The groom is employed by Accenture and holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management. The bride is employed by PwC and will attend Harvard Business School in the fall. The couple will relocate to the Boston area following their honeymoon.
