Public Notice: The Board of Regents

PUBLIC NOTICE: The Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia, as Owner, by and on behalf of Georgia State University (GSU), are proposing to demolish the existing, vacant four-story brick building, located at 148 Edgewood Ave in Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia (33° 45' 16.43" North and 84° 23' 0.01" West). Since the vacant building (GNAHRGIS 32087 Georgia Rail and Power Building) is determined individually eligible for listing in the Georgia/National Register of Historic Places (G/NRHP) by the State Historic Preservation Office, an Environmental Effects Report (EER) has been prepared and mitigation measures are being taken to offset the impact to historic properties. Interested persons may review the EER by requesting a copy at the Atlanta Central Library at One Margaret Mitchell Square, Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia 30303. Public comments regarding potential effects on historic properties or requests for a public hearing regarding the proposed action may be submitted within 30 days from the date of this publication to: C.
