Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport Notice of Availability

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport Notice of Availability of Draft Environmental Assessment for Widening of Concourse D and Domestic Terminal Parking Reconfiguration The City of Atlanta/Department of Aviation (DOA) announces availability of the Draft Environmental Assessment (DEA) for a proposed project at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. The DEA was prepared in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 (NEPA), Federal Aviation Administration instructions for implementing NEPA, and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act. The proposed project would widen Concourse D to, among other reasons, provide a higher passenger level of service through enhanced passenger movement inside the concourse. The proposed project would also replace the Domestic Terminal North Parking Deck and the South Parking Deck parking capacities because these existing facilities are reaching their useful life span. The DEA may be reviewed at the locations below. A copy of the DEA can be downloaded at www.ATL-EA.com.
