NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FULTON COUNTY, GA FY2025-2029 CONSOLIDATED PLAN AND 2025 ANNUAL ACTION PLAN CITIZEN PARTICIPATION PLAN Notice is hereby given that Fulton County, GA (County) has prepared its 2025-2029 Five Year Consolidated Plan and 2025 Annual Action Plan for the federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) Programs. Feedback from the community is requested on the draft plan. For FY 2025, Fulton County expects to receive the following amounts CDBG: $1,300,000; HOME: $735,000. These amounts are estimates only and final allocations to the County are dependent on Congressional budget and appropriations. The Consolidated Plan document will describe how changes to these amounts will be treated should the County receive more or less than anticipated. These funds will be used for a variety of eligible activities and services that will benefit Fulton County citizens, with the exception of those citizens residing within the city limits of Atlanta, Roswell, South Fulton and Sandy Springs. Fulton County has also updated its Citizen Participation Plan. The Citizen Participation Plan outlines the County's responsibilities for obtaining citizen comment on the County's Community Development Block Grant and HOME Investment Partnership Programs and any modifications thereto. In order to obtain the views of citizens, public agencies, and other interested parties, the County has placed its proposed FY2025-2029 Five Year Consolidated Plan, 2025 Annual Action Plan and Citizen Participation Plan on public display at the Fulton County Department of Community Development, and online athttps://www.fultoncountyga.gov/inside-fulton-county/fulton-county-departments/community-development beginning January 21, 2025 and ending February 20, 2025. The County will hold a public hearing to discuss the proposed FY2025-2029 Five Year Consolidated Plan, 2025 Annual Action Plan and amended Citizen Participation Plan on Monday February 3, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at the Fulton County College Park Library 3647 Main St, College Park, GA 30337.
