Notice of Public Comment Period Finding of Suitability to Transfer (FOST) Fort Gillem, Clayton County, Georgia Southeast Burial Site (FTG-02) Priority Parcel 2A Priority Parcels 3A, 3B, 3C Priority Parcel 4 The Department of the Army invites the public to review and comment on the Finding of Suitability to Transfer (FOST) for Installation Restoration Program (IRP) Site FTG 02 Southeast Burial Site and Priority Parcels 2B, 3A, 3B, 3C and 4, totaling approximately 96 acres of land at Fort Gillem in Clayton County, Georgia. The FOST concludes that the properties identified are environmentally suitable for transfer in accordance with Section 120(h) of the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) and Department of Defense (DOD) policy. Interested members of the public may review and comment on the Proposed Plan during a 30-day Public Comment Period, from Apr 24, 2019 to May 24, 2019. The FOST may be reviewed at the Forest Park Branch Library, 4812 West Street, Forest Park, GA 30297, 770-347-0160.
