Notice of Filing of Bank Merger Act Application

NOTICE OF FILING OF BANK MERGER ACT APPLICATION Notice is hereby given that The Piedmont Bank, a Georgia state-chartered bank with its main office at 5100 Peachtree Parkway, Norcross, Georgia 30092, and WestSide Bank, a Georgia state-chartered bank with its main office at 56 Hiram Drive, Hiram, Georgia 30141, have filed an Interagency Bank Merger Act Application with the Atlanta Regional Office of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation ("FDIC") to merge WestSide Bank with and into The Piedmont Bank, with The Piedmont Bank as the surviving institution. All offices of The Piedmont Bank and WestSide Bank will continue to be operated as offices of The Piedmont Bank following the proposed bank merger. An application with respect to the bank merger was also submitted to the Georgia Department of Banking and Finance ("Georgia Department"), the primary bank regulator for The Piedmont Bank. Any person wishing to comment on the application filed with the FDIC may file his or her comments in writing with the Regional Director of the FDIC at its Atlanta Regional Office, 10 Tenth Street, NE, Suite 800, Atlanta, Georgia 30309-3906, not later than December 1, 2020. The nonconfidential portions of the application are on file at the FDIC's Atlanta Regional Office and are available for if a formal request is submitted to the FDIC. Electronic versions of the nonconfidential portion of the application file will be made available upon request. In addition, any person wishing to comment on the application filed with the Georgia Department may do so by filing written notice with the Georgia Department, 2990 Brandywine Road, Suite 200, Atlanta, Georgia 30341-5565, not later than December 1, 2020. Nonconfidential portions of the application filed with the Georgia Department are available for review if a formal request is submitted to the Georgia Department.
