Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport Notice of Availability of Draft Focused Environmental Assessment for Construction of South Deicing Pads and Associated Projects The City of Atlanta/Department of Aviation (DOA) announces availability of the Draft Environmental Assessment (DEA) for a proposed project at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. The DEA was prepared in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 (NEPA) and Federal Aviation Administration instructions for implementing NEPA. The proposed project would provide more aircraft deicing pads that would be used during falling snow and/or icing conditions. The DEA provides an analysis of the potential environmental effects of the proposed project and is available for public review beginning December 8, 2019 at the following locations: Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport Technical Support Campus 1255 South Loop Road College Park, Georgia 30337 Forest Park Branch Library 4812 West Street Forest Park, Georgia 30297 College Park Branch Library 3647 Main Street College Park, Georgia 30337 The DEA is also available for download at http:/www.kbenv.com/atl-ea.html on December 8, 2019.
