Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport Notice of Availability of Draft Focused Environmental Assessment for Construction of South Deicing Pads and Associated Projects The City of Atlanta/Department of Aviation (DOA) announces availability of the Draft Environmental Assessment (DEA) for a proposed project at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. The DEA was prepared in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 (NEPA) and Federal Aviation Administration instructions for implementing NEPA. The proposed project would provide more aircraft deicing pads that would be used during falling snow and/or icing conditions.
