McFarland ~ Taylor Engagement Mr. and Mrs. Dan McFarland of Lawrenceville Georgia and Mr. and Mrs. Burlie Wayne Taylor, Jr., of Lawrenceville Georgia, happily announce the engagement of their children Alexa Marie McFarland and Jackson Ryals Taylor. Alexa is a 2012 graduate of Collins Hill High School, in Suwanee Georgia. She graduated from Georgia Southern University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and is employed as a National Account Manager at Discount Waste in Norcross Georgia. Jackson is a 2013 graduate of Collins Hill High School. He graduated in 2018 from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Finance. Jackson is employed as an Associate at Warren Averett CPAs and Advisors in Atlanta Georgia. Alexa is the granddaughter of Chuck and Terese McFarland of Tinley Park Illinois and Ray and Sharon Capoccia of Tampa Florida. Jackson is the grandson of Burlie Wayne Taylor Sr. and Geraldine Taylor of Cross Plains Texas and Harrell and Faye Ryals of Montgomery Alabama. An October wedding is planned. The couple will reside in Atlanta, Georgia.
