NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING UPON PROPOSAL FOR REDISTRICTING Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at 6:30 p.m. Monday, February 6, 2023 at 6:30 p.m. Monday, February 20, 2023 at 6:30 p.m. Pursuant to O.C.G.A. §§ 36-35-3 and 4.1, notice is hereby given that the City of East Point, a Georgia Municipal Corporation, will hold a public hearing to vote on a proposal to reapportion the election districts from which members of the municipal governing authority are elected, following publication of the United States decennial census of 2020, as provided in O.C.G.A. § 36-35-4.1. The East Point City Council will hold a public hearing to discuss and pass upon the proposed plans for redistricting at East Point City Hall, located at 2757 East Point Street, East Point, Fulton County, Georgia 30344 on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at 6:30 p.m., Monday, February 6, 2023 at 6:30 p.m. and Monday, February 20, 2023 at 6:30 p.m. A copy of the amendments are on file in the Office of the City Clerk for the purpose of examination and inspection by the public. 2-5-23
