The Sheltering ARMS is Accepting Invitation for Sealed

The Sheltering Arms is accepting Invitation for sealed bids for individual food and non-food components in accordance with Bright from the Start, Child and Adult Care Food Program for all 13 centers located in Cobb, Fulton, DeKalb, Gwinnett and Douglas counties. The Sheltering Arms serves breakfast, lunch and a PM snack Monday thru Friday for 2000 children and 300 adults throughout the 13 centers. The Child and Adult Care Food Program ensures children and adults in Georgia have access to nutritious meals for Georgia's most vulnerable citizens while in child care and adult facilities throughout the year. M. Wednesday, November 30, 2022 and must be clearly marked "Sheltering Arms Food Bid" on the outside of the sealed bid. Veronica Moore, Director of Health, Nutrition and Wellbeing will receive all sealed bids. Bids will be opened on Friday, December 2, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. in the Conference Room of the Sheltering Arms Administrative Offices. Bids received after the deadline will not be considered. Bids received shall be good for a period of one hundred twenty (120) days from the opening of the bid. The Sheltering Arms reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The Sheltering Arms also reserve the right to waive any informality or technicalities relative to any or all bids or proposals and to request any additional information or clarification deem for evaluation of any bid or proposal. Once contract is awarded it will remain in effect for one (1) year beginning December 30, 2022 to December 31, 2023. This contract may be renewal for three (3) renewal periods. The award of the contract will be made upon the approval/ratification by Sheltering Arms officials and Bright from the Start.
